Granny Bags

Here are the bags that I've been talking about. They are called the Granny bag, not because they come in age ok...don't ask me why, I suppose they are roomy but that doesn't really relates to why they are called granny. Oh..I remember now, possibly because the folding and the shape of the bags represent those bags that ah ma (or liang bo bo) used to carry!

Well, I particularly like this granny bag, that's why I've learnt to sew it. Roomy and sturdy, they are perfect for a casual weekend. They are made from beautiful designer's fabric from the States and are limited in quantity. The bags come with a inner pocket with magnetic snap button except for those that are reversible. Reversible bags have no inner pocket nor button for obvious reason :) Granny can be re-ordered provided the fabrics are still available. Do drop me an email to check on the availability.

Fascinating Fabrics

Fabrics, never knew they can be so fascinating... Recently I got interested in fabrics and took a fancy in them. I started to have my own collection of fabrics and it is kinda getting out of hand now. My small drawer could no longer hold them anymore and I have to think of alternative storage space. Every fabric has a story to tell, be it their textures, their designs, their colours...I first got interested in designer's fabric from the States, and now I'm head over heels over Japanese fabric! They are just so adorable and cute! Some are really limited in quantity and you really have to beat the rest in laying your hands on them. (as you know, there are also alot of craft makers out there who are vying for the same piece of fabric) But anyway, with these fabrics, I've learn to create some bags and wristlets and hopefully more items in the near future. And here is one of my fav piece made from Japanese fabric featuring the Russian dolls. Wristlet for you to dump your barang or simply your precious little PSP. Cute!
